The primary goal of the FYP is for students to become involved in the research
process
(e.g., becoming deeply familiar with the existing research literature in an area, designing a study, conducting analyses, making appropriate conclusions, writing and presenting your research). The point is to develop a wide variety of conceptual, methodological, and statistical skills.
Presenting research at end-of-year department conference.

: Dramatic revisions needed and must be approved by committee. Problems include dramatic shortfalls, very poor or minimal attempt to “go beyond” simple summary of the literature, and/or poor writing.
